Tips to do well for O..

Im sitting for O lvl nxt yr november liao... but problem is the syllabus now i have problem mastering.. anyone got tip how to study well? plus the computer is one of the main source of distraction .. my body always make me do my home work last minute... i somehow cannot tell my mind to do home work first.. anyone who been through O lvl can advice me?

there is no shortcut or miracle pill to this.......
hardworking and diligence pay off
identify wat are ur strong/weak subjects
draw up a revision time-table accordingly....
force urself to complete a certain no. of chapters within a period
and in times of doubt, dun hesitate to approach ur teachers for assistance.....
do not overwork urself though....
balance work and leisure....
award urself (like able to use comp, come online) when u've successfully conquered a batch of work.....
oh yah, swallow the 10-year-series (they still exist rite?) but dun rely on it like a bible.....
do other schools' papers to expose urself to the different style of questions.....
fyi, i did none of the above during my Os...........

practise all the pass year papers.. ermm i think abt the compuer part, u set aside time for to play your comp .. seld disicpline ya .. hehe

stay back in school to study so you wouldn't see your computer.
past years paper. hahahahaaa. Yah. All the questions bloody similar one. -
well teacher only cover like 3 -5 chapter.. past year paper consist of so many chapter how to do .. den i do those chapter by chapter assenment.. my mind just goes blank... den at school very pai seh to ask.. coz like during class u keep asking.. like disrupt and delay the lessson... in the end teacher finish 1 topic.. half the chapter dunno wat is it about..

O levels is dead lar..just study like siao can liao..yep and eat the 10 year series..

Do ten year series. Do and do and do and do until you know it so well like riding a bicyle. O level exams no need thinking one. Wasting ur time only, do and get over with it.

Ahber then. When i think of why i went for maths tution back then, i feel that i wasted so much money coz the tutors only repeat the same stuff from TYS over and over and over and over again. I felt all the credit for doing well in my Os should go only to me, not them. Coz seriously, they only tell me to practice, practice, practice. So i tell you how to save your money now. i guess if the computer is a distraction, as it always have been one for me, get urself out there to study, lock ur PC, get ur mum to keep the keyboard away from you .. many many ways.
Study smart, understand and not memorise. Make urself LOVE the subjects even if u dun ...
if u feel unmotivated, go study wif ur frens ... i hope they are more disciplined than you are .. as u guys/gals help each other, u grasp concepts alot faster and easier ...

Find out what is the best environment for you to absorb informations best. Then just keep studying in that environment. With friends or without. Best is if there are no distractions at all.
Basically for your case you need a lot of self - discipline to not succumb to temptations in the form of distractions from study. You might also want to meet your teacher after school to ask about the stuff in the chapters that you don't understand. I believe they should be more than happy to help you.
