MT requirements for uni admission

Just checking out university admission requirements for law, medicine etc...
Is the B3 HMT standard for O levels / MT at AO level waived or something? There doesn't seem to be a requirement for it anymore if you want to enter law and medicine in NUS. Only B3 for GP stated. (And obviously the 4 As)
BTW does anyone know if you need a b3 (for MT) and better for dentistry? Considering going for it.
