Your post reminds me of 2 incidents.
Incident 1:
A group of people are waiting for their bus.
Their bus finally came and they walked closer to the pavement.
The bus drove into the bus stop and drove out again, without stopping.
I looked on with amusement. Want to board the bus yet don't want to flag it.
Incident 2:
There are a lot of JC students on the bus.
Obviously the JC students would want to alight at the bus stop by the side of the school.
But no one pressed for the bell.
Result: They alighted 2 km away.
I looked on with amusement also. -

Chinatown
One group of middle to senior aged people waited for a bus. As the bus pulled into the bus stop, the group stepped onto the road to 'greet' the bus and as it stopped, the group already stepped near the entrance. Seems the bus nearly knocked them down before it stopped. One old man got the cheek to scold the bus driver. Worse, these people did not wait for bus to stop properly, and stepped out onto the road too. Some more all senior aged ones...

Took 174 there, blardy hell, a bunch of Hwa Chong JC students(?), especially the gals were talking so loudly like in pasar like that, my eardrums were gonna burst... -
