it's national day..
people are happy around, celebrating... and that's good..
however, my feelings are such that hey! it's national day!
and that's about it... not one to join in the choreographed rejoicing... i'd rather say a prayer for the safety and well-being of our country than to join in the synchronised festivities...
we're in our 40th year as a nation..
may we have many many more years, decades and maybe even centuries ahead -
