  anyway, some NTUC also have... they sold the Shinco one for $78.90 about a year ago...

  mine plays DVDs (all codes), VCDs, SVCDs, SACDs, CDs, MP3s, JPEG files...
  
  what more do you want?
  
  i bought that 2 years ago for $95

  btw, for some DVDs, you may need to go buy 5.1 speakers... or else you can't hear the conversation...
  
  again, get the 5.1 speakers from these brands.. they're cheap as heck..

  oh.. btw.. the DVD players are going really cheaply now coz in about a year, the HD DVDs and the Blu-Ray DVDs will be in production...

  bought my dvd yesterday. cost less than 60 bucks... the brand is ENZER... not bad, can even play my damaged vcd (laptop cannot see)

  i tried playing dragonball dvd on pc, but it get hanged often, at first thought dvd spoilt. but now it play smoothy on my new player.
