Casino Survey done

  When asked where would they like the Casino to be situated?
  
  Total: 8000+ surveyed
  
  36% in housing estate
  23% in sentosa/southern islands
  12% in Marina South
  29% disagree to have casino

  I don't believe 36 % out of 8000 Singaporean selected housing estate, they are too rich or wat?
  
  Casino is suppose to bring more money in to Singapore and not take money from Singaporean. Aiyo the 36% must be Auntie and Uncle /me shake head.
  
  Should have F1 track or Casino to help economic, Singapore has got only human resource therefore needed to boost up the tourism to bring in money.
  
  I rather vote to have the Casino in Sentosa and restrict it not for Singaporean.

  cos if those ppl got money to gamble, they shld be rich enough to be able to take cab or own their own cars...

  just one very curious question....anyone here did that survey personally??????
  
  they always said they did this and that survey but why everytime their result are always so diff from what we think??...
  
  anyone tat study stats b4 knows that what result u get can depend alot on ur target of studies

  Housing estate got lots of aunites and uncles mah... all very free... if its nearer, they dont need go genting or onboard ship liao...

  i agree.took a module on stats.simple stats last sem
  
  actually it doesnt take stats to tell one that target population influences answers..but not to an extent of swaying dramatically.

  unless u survey ppl right outside a casino then i really have nothing to say
