Why Human Being need long term relationship?

If you are rich, got house, got friends , everything do you think you need a partner?
If Sin goverment don't set the rule of married copule can apply HDB flat, I guest most of the ppl will stay single.
What is the "thing" or missing thing that human must have a long term relationship?
I guess this is another topic that you guys nv think before, sigh. -
so that when we die, at least the person who knows is nt your next door neighbour when he/she realises the stench coming off from my rotting body...

You might feel very self sufficient when you have all the material things you owe. But really...when the nite falls and everything comes to a stand still, who is there to share your joy, love, sorrow, doubts? Friends? Yea, possible...then again, they can't be there every minute for you like your other half can, agree? -

You don't need long term relationship; you need fulfilling relationship.
If you are rich - let me reassure you that you will have much bogus friends. Got house, got car and all the material items you could have - but how much pleasure would you gain from 'consuming' the product. Maybe to many of us - having branded cars and everything else is heaven, but to rich dudes, it's nothing because they have been there done that.
Can you imagine how much failure you will feel if you have everything but a fulfilling relationship? This agony comes from the fact that fulfilling relationship cannot be bought - it has to be learn and earned through some really annoying means that could cut your heart deep and the sh|t part is that you never know if the person you are with is for love or wealth. (That's why I said a fulfilling relationship and not love nor long term relationship because these can be bought artifically through monetary means) You are surrounded by possible deception from all angles.
A person truely in love and having fulfilling relationship has more than enough to enjoy and will never see himself as 'been there, done that.' The consumption in the product of love is incredibly long, lasting and concrete. How long can you enjoy a game? How much pleasure can you gain from flaunting wealth? Good loving relationship last many times over.
Having something that money cannot buy; motivation will drive me to work for money and purchase items/service/product that I could enjoy in addition to what I already have. A complete soul always feel wholesome and nothing else could substitude the void in an empty soul.
When you love, you should not say,
"God is in my heart,"
But rather,
"I am in the heart of God

I had tried enough from the past, I don't need to try anymore. I don't mean to get multiple sex partner.
What wife can do is what a part time gf can give, if 1 cannot do all you can have many partime gf with different duty
But what a wife cannot do is what you cannot change, part time gf can mah.
I think that is why rich man always have mistress.
I not saying I am like that, I am thinking of how to imporve and aviod such thing happen on me, if I become rich -

IMO Marriage is an institution that offers legal rights and protection to the couple. Other than that, and the social recognition a married couple receives, there's hardly anything else that's useful about it.
People need long term relationships because we crave security. There is a safe feeling that "you're home" when you're with him/her. And we need deep, strong bonds... as you spend more time with a person, a deep connection is built upon the experiences shared. The relationship becomes part of our life that (we feel) remains constant and rock stable, sure, while we face the pressures and changes outside. -

Just broke off. I find relationship not easy. I am still learning. Not easy for man and woman to stay very close for too long. They think differently and priotize the same need differently.

its the unknow part and human nature that keeps the relationship long. If you stop find out yourself and your partner then there is nothing interesting in the life, whats the point living? -
because human need emotional support and stuff, and sometimes these support cannot come from friends. Even your parents also cannot be there for u all the time, only your long term partner..
