2) You pay alot to stay in a squatter area (HDB)
3) There is more than 1 t v station
4) There is no ban on chewing gum and pornography
5) You dun pay a 2.1 million fine for hitting a f**king ang mor jaywalker

Paradise in the sun.....only problem is it's getting a little to commercialised. As usual, we humans move in and spoil the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer.
I stay in Australia so I can't complain about COE, HDB flats, etc.....only about the bloody EXORBIDENT TAX RATE!!!!

There's still tax on Christmas/Cocos Island, like capital gains tax and income tax as they are Australian dependencies, but no sales tax / GST due to the remote location.

I stayed in France (namely Paris) for a year before. Didn't like it.....the French people are ok if you can speak French, but the noise and pollution, the crime, the claustraphobia of living in a metropolis......moved on after a year.
Never been to Canada though. Some places should be a quieter version of France, like Montreal, where anglophones and francophones mix freely. -
