As this is a highly suggestive, controversial and contested topic, please observe the following rules before bringing the topic into disrepute, causing early closure and denying the freedom of speech.

You're thereafter responsible for your own posting when you make a reference. 02. Insults, vulgar content, trolling are strictly to be monitored, and might be doctored by the moderators to prevent others from going out of topic and making this a battlefield. Incitation of flame, trolling, hurling unnecessary abuse, and strong provocative words are strongly detrimental to the discussion. You agree that by replying in this thread all private discussions, personnal rivalries, and feuds are strongly discouraged to be brought into the discussion and by inciting flame, trolling, hurling unnecessary abuse and strong provocative words, you will subject yourself to similar treatment and 30th Century FOS, its moderators or the original thread starter is not responsible for the conducts of those replying in this thread.
03. Unnecessary remarks such as +1, smileys, correction of another's typos, vocabulary, commenting on another's English are strictly to be avoided to make this discussion as serious as possible. You agree that by replying in this thread, you will reinforce this rule or subject yourself to possible vocal attacks from parties involving in serious discussion and will not hold 30th Century FOS, its moderators or the original thread starter responsible for the conducts of those replying in this thread.
04. Unnecessary private discussion, no matter how friendly or close relationships are between two or more members are to be avoided at all cost. Usage of other languages/dialects, such as Hokkien, Japanese, Korean, France are to be avoided as to prevent confusion. You agree that by replying to this thread you will strictly post in English and avoid incomprehensible slangs, notions, or non-English words.
05. Reference to spiritual beings, Gods, Devils, supernatural beings, should be totally avoided. This has nothing to do with the discussion, nor do we want the discussion to be based upon it.
By replying to this thread, (ala posting), you will therefore adhere to forum policies, rules and regulations, Terms & Conditions, laws, and will also strictly adhere to the abovementioned rules. You are also aware that 30th Century FOS, its moderators, or the original thread starter are not responsible for the content/posts made by others and that you agree that if you proceed with the discussion, you can be subjected to unnecessary remarks, strong provocative words, discrimination, abuse due to the nature of this thread being open to all. You are also aware that as the content is strongly controversial, it would be possibly monitored by moderators and adminstrators and thus your well being in the forums will be strictly under scrutiny. A certain forum member was banned recently and thus sparking this interest. On what grounds do the forum members think a ban would be served and on what grounds do you think that a warning would suffice.
Personally, I felt that bans were only necessary to dissuade and only served after a series of warnings were first given, and subjected to the decision of a panel of not less than three individuals.
Suspensions of accounts might be a valuable addition to the forums as it served as a means to show that action was taken. We are all aware that the forum itself currently do not support this function and it might be a welcomed addition to regulate the forums. -
As we all know, buying a premier membership is not a 'Get out of Jail' free protection from bans but we have never encountered any incident when a paying customer is being prohibited to post on the forums. Who thinks that getting a premier membership should entitle a member to warnings before a ban is issued, as they are showing their support for the forums by contributing, albeit they have possibly commit a foul mistake once in a while?
Do you think that there is a incomprehensible line between fault and fraud since we're not strongly aware that under which clauses that a member was issued a ban, and the number of attempts that was made to dissuade a member from undermining the necessary forum etiquette? -

I think even being a paying member, one should not be granted full protection. Regulations set out should be impartial.

How many warnings, and is it dependent on how severe the incident is?
I do believe that premier member/senior members should also respect the rules and in fact try to guide new members from breaking them. There is no official channel to direct complains through, nor an easy way to refresh the rules other than logging out and trying to 'register' a new account. -
The person you ere referring to was the second person I know who has been kicked off. I myself have been wondering why these two could get banned so easily. At the forum I run, there are worse people. No action was taken against them despite actions taken on my part to tip off the administrators. It is simply sickening.
There is someone who always tears apart the arguments put forth by 6white_pawn9 in his threads. The latter is knowledgeable on matters pertaining to Islamic teaching. It is not a pleasure to see that insensitive fool always at his throat. -

We're here to discuss what are the valid reasons to ban, suspend or warn an individual instead of your personnal feud with someone who is on your tail. I suppose the decisions made there and then is really your problem, and not our concern here since that is out of point. We are more concerned about a possible operating procedure before banning an account holder, not whether someone has banned someone for the sake of something. -
