Whats the problem with me?

I am in Penang for business trip now.
last night I check in to a hotel, drink 2 cans of beer and fell asleep.
In the middel of the night I wake up to pee pee, I happen to look at the mirror and I was shock to see my lips bleeding with a lump.
I suspect that I bite my lips while I am sleeping.
What casues this? How to stop that? -

some folks grind their teeth when they sleep. I do that a lot, I get up with my jaws and molars in pain. Its usually a symptoms of stress.
Dentist have a kind of plastic that can hold the teeth in position... but this stops the symptoms but don't fix root cause... -
