how many episodes are there in Hack//sign?

  was watching it... 3 DVDs worth so about 25 episodes...
  
  the last episode seems to drop off very abruptly... seems like there could be more..

  26 or 27 eps for .hack//sign
  
  second series is tasogare no udewa densetsu.
  
  cant recall the name for the oav series...

  dunno if its too late.
  
  sign has 26 episodes + 1 additional 27th episode which has no connection with the story.
  
  dusk also has 26 episodes.
  
  liminality is shipped together with the game, so total is 4 episodes. never been able to find the 4th one though.
  
  there was a 28th sign episode, it's sort of those ultimate endings, any and every character in each hack story arc appears in this for a happy ending. i think this last episode is shipped in the 4th installation of the PS2 game. that may account for the missing 4th liminality episode.
  
  then there's the mysterious .hack//gift. not made by the original company, it was a bonus episode, though i can't remember for what.

  i actually had complete divx version of both tv series... but cant be bothered with the testing or watching it.
  
  the first ep of each series made me yawn.
