Imagine if Inter Milan goes out on 'Away' goal again or AC Milan goes out on 'Away' goal.Originally posted by the Bear:well, maybe they should just settle it in a steel cage
But the worst thing is that it's so easy to get tickets that it makes the derby evenly crowded during home and away...Originally posted by loseagain:If i remember right AC won the same tie in 2003 semi final due to the away goals rule, first leg 0-0 AC home, then 2nd leg 1-1 Inter home, so Inter got kicked out
Anyway the allocate the % of fans differently what, so when AC home more AC fans and the same thing when Inter is home
Yes. Ridiculously right?Originally posted by 798:This is a neutral ground right?
Hey! supposely Inter score alot yet draw, do they consider winning too by away-goal rule?
Originally posted by loseagain:but isnt it the same as a arsenal vs chelsea tie like last year? just that there are 2 different stadiums.
the way they allocate the tickets is they will check what fan you are before selling you the ticket. If they anyhow sell, then any derby will have uneven distribution of home and away tickets.
maybe on an AC home match they will eject any fan that wears Inter jersey in the home crowd section?
soccer fields all around the same one what......... maybe some are harder but then again the difference is not much.Originally posted by the Bear:it's London but one's Highbury and the other is Stamford Bridge... it's not the same as players will know their own field...
San Siro is a shared ground...
It's pretty dumb to have 2 teams from the same country togetherOriginally posted by Kuali Baba:It is stupid. It ensures that one Italian team is in the semi-finals...and I am hoping not to see Catenaccio all over again, like in 2003. It adds tension but I do wish there was a rule that teams from the same country do not meet until it is unavoidable.
And this is coming from a Rossoneri.
The field is a factor, since the size of the field differs between stadiums.Originally posted by loseagain:soccer fields all around the same one what......... maybe some are harder but then again the difference is not much.
on a lousy field, all the players will find it equally difficult compared to a good one, so knowing the field is just a very small factor, home support is a much more important one.
Yea, it kinda sums up that they are hoping for an Italian in the finals.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:It is stupid. They were probably joking about them meeting again at San Siro.Originally posted by Rockhound:u guys should have watched the draw happening...when the 2 teams were announced....the representatives from AC and Inter were groaning and shaking their heads......and the other representatives from the other clubs were giving faint laughs....
Some rules become a joke when implemented.Originally posted by Parka:They are just following the rules.
And this is not the first time.
really meh? i thought all the fields are standard one..............Originally posted by Nelstar:The field is a factor, since the size of the field differs between stadiums.
nolah...if u collect that old FA premier league sticker book u'd notice that the fields of different clubs are of different sizes...SG National Stadium the field considered small leh...lol.....Originally posted by loseagain:really meh? i thought all the fields are standard one..............
i thought penalty spot a fixed number of yards, penalty box also standard what..... then from halfway line to penalty box distance should also be fixed...... where got different sizes?Originally posted by Rockhound:nolah...if u collect that old FA premier league sticker book u'd notice that the fields of different clubs are of different sizes...SG National Stadium the field considered small leh...lol.....

are you sure it's not the stadium that differs in size ?
