  i like the guy on the skiff
  
  something about being alone on a skiff, by himself, yet somewhere off centre, appeals to me

  i like the boats.. there is enough detail around, the lighting is good coz you know it's dusk.. and the colours of the clouds during sunset is always breathtaking
  
  the silhouette of people are also pretty cool as it shows of the colours of the background...
  
  i don't particularly like the ones which are almost totally black.. as you already know what they are.. the black does not add to the mystery
  
  i like the flowers! the buildings, tho' could try different angles..
  
  well done!

  composition helps make a pic look better.. but it's just a guideline.. many great photographers don't follow rules..
  
  like bear pointed out.. the pictures of the cranes is not so impactful.. also, some of those you zoomed into the clouds lacks interestin subjects in it..
  
  but in some pics u made good use of shapes and merging lines..
  
  oh ya, the photo with the man in the boat.. i think if you crop of just bit of the empty space below, it should perfect..
  
  and the moon was quite well-exposed

  thanks everyone for their valuable advice,comments and criticisms.
  will take note of them.
  
  please stay tuned for more. still got 140 pictures to choose from before uploading some of them....dun worry...wont show all 140 .....
  at the most 10 to 30?

  i tried but the cranes were from pasir panjang wharves ? we took it at west coast. i couldnt help it but i thought maybe include the crane in the sun sort of reminded everyone of the industrailization?
  
  anyway point taken for the 1 for the boat man...thanks
