i would like to rant against some people (whom i will not name)..
useless 2-faced lying pieces of crap... we're having a problem with something at work (they're an external party who we MUST work with)... so they say: let's have an informal meeting as things are not easily done through email...
being the trusting type, i said "sure"...
so during the meeting, no minutes are taken... as it's an informal 1/2 hour thing somewhere...
they agreed to a lot of things... which i asked to reconfirm verbally many times during the 1/2 hour...
when i do everything, and everything is in place, i email them for confirmation, they bloody turn around and said everything in the opposite!!
lying charlatans! since nothing was documented, they kept sticking to their guns....
so we're having a fight to the bitter end... i have my mob who also asked the same type of questions, and they have their mob lying through their teeth... ends up a matter of "he say, she say"...
we're escalating this to our bosses... the bosses know our stand, before and now.. let them go hammer this out...

how old are they? i think they aren't young anymore right? still go back on their words so easily..then the most qi thing is you already done everything and they turn around and say another thing.. 
peharps next time you should get everything documented so you can refer back to what they say, and yu can sue them if they say something esle (em, i am studying business law now haha thus the sue issue 
)..i am sure your bosses will sort everything out fairly for you..bu yao sheng qi le! smileeee.. -
i know.. a verbal agreement is contract itself...
however, the cost of forcing them to do it is not only monetary, there's also other things involved...
but they have painted themselves into a corner.. i have done these things before and policy dictates that i cannot cede to the things they demand as it would be unethical... and my bosses know that i would rather throw it all away than betray my personal ethics...
besides, my department cannot do what they want... which was the gist of the whole series of emails...
if my bosses get to their bosses, i think they're in trouble... i never want to push things but this has to move... so i've set the whole thing rolling and asked my bosses to look into this... because the thing has stalled... my bosses are not happy with them..

oh i haf met this type of people too.
they would tell u one thing and tell your peers or your subordinates another.
they would tell u one thing and tell your subordinates something else and blame it on you without you knowing.
they would tell u not to talk to your subordinates about something, but go and tell them about it themselves.
they would behave one way infront of their bosses and another way when their bosses are not around.
2 faced lying cock-sucking ball carrying idiots, these type of people.
