24hr photo camp

my sch's photography club is having this sadistic 24hr photography event overnight. on wed and thurs. makes me wonder, would this be considered as an endurance event?
anyway we would be going round singapore, from chinatown,west coast, etc.
overnight at changi chalet.
first time i heard of such an event.
what u guys think ? sadistic ? hee hee.
btw anyone want to join us ? cost of food and transport not included. -

1700h Meet up at Jurong East MRT station Control
1) Moving out to West Coast Park for Sunset(By Bus 176)
1930h Pack up and Head for Town (Dinner)

1) Night photography(By Train)

just a suggestion.. u guys might not wanna have dinner at around 730 - 745 or doing anything except shooting! that's called the "twilight hour" where the sky will be a deep blue, and the city lights are will lighted up.
to the naked eye the sky could be black, but becos of long exposures (nite shoot) on the photo it will turn out dark blue:

focus on the buildings.. use a smaler aperture (bigger f) if u can/want. mines's a little to big
if u're talking about hyperfocal distance.. when everything is in focus, then i'm not too sure myself. really depends on the lens u use..
can always search hyperfocal distance on google and find out. depth of field also can, or circle of confusion.. ehhe alot of cheem phrases in photog for u to learn! -
