When you know the job has got no potential for growth..
surrounded by imbeciles and numb skulls that can't even complette their year 12 in high school.
Then these freaks in management tell you to do these sh|t kicking stuff... like reception for another office for the whole afternoon. I've had enough..
Should i just leave?? Last night, my bf's father told me that i have lots of good contacts. I should try to establish our... at the moment tiny but growing potential IT company. URGH.. I so wanna do it, drive up and down meeting clients. I have some clients and contacts from Epping to Dandenong..
We have a software that could attract potential sales from government departments all over the world. URGHHH..
Why can't I just quit and tell them to shove it up their ... ?!?!!? -
For the few people who know me here. They know what i'm like.
I'm very work proud.... for me my career is everything. Both myself and my partner are financially stable. No mortgage, no nice cars to pay off. Not even HECS debt.
I feel that we are able to do it. He's sick of his job, i'm not even here for about 9mths and i've been sidelined to a shitkicker. Urgh... i keep telling myself to be a teamplayer at the same time I didn't go to Uni to be a receptionist.
I admit i don't have much to do in my normal job. It's just that the owner of this joint was overseas and was not around to handball some crackpot ideas for me to pursue. -
Wish to leave my current company but can't seems to get other decent job outside.
Waiting... Waiting for an good position. Need not have high pay, but something I would feel satisfying. -

Hmm - Ling, I don't recall you ever mentioning that you were considering marketing for the IT company. That's a damned good idea - you've got the backing, so what the hey.
Right now I'm doing the same thing - I figured out a while ago that I'm too damned qualified to stay as someone's employee. I've got enough savings to live for a good long while if I'm careful, so I'm taking my chance to work out how to do my own thing.
Remember, if you want security, live in a prison.

I did relief teaching for a few months - secondary school maths and English. I loved working with the kids and hated working with the older teachers.

Ohhh really Ged?! Oh i did Nikki's website under the name of Vers. So that when the despotic owner's pawn (ie.. crappy sales managers) pounced on her. She said it was my partner's father who did it. To avoid me getting the cane as well... ya know she is so innovative but he was threatened by her. He told me not to talk to her as much, that everything we do is confidential (what did i do? Gave her all the reports i did. haha). Anyway.. vers is like top secret.. I think as the software that John developed has not really gone anyway due to the standards have not been implemented yet.
