keisha... look on the bright side... this one month will be over very fast one... somemore got New Year holiday and Chinese New Year holiday... so effectively its another 3 weeks only... just hang in there and it'll be over in a jiffy...

keisha > do some calculations ..... if the amount you need to pay them can be recovered in a few months on your new job (i assume your new job pays better), then you may want to consider buying yourself out.
i had a slight dilemma when leaving my last job, because of the bonus coming up. but, looking that the next job pays 25% more, the bonus can be recovered in 4 months. so, what the heck! go! cause a bad job ain't worth staying for even one extra day
just my thoughts. not sure whether it'll be the same situation for you. -

no point buying myself out, cos tat means waiting for my aws has been a watse. n i oredi drag myself tis way juz for tat god damn one more month extra pay. so if i pay n leave, i would have wasted all my effort.
like meow say, there's new year and chines new year holiday, so technically, my last day should be 21st jan. then both the new year's eve will be half day. so tis week will be a short week. next week full week (plan to take mc), my birthday week i'll be taking at least 2 days leave. and the chines new year week is short week again. so lan lan, bear wth it lor.
