I totally enjoyed reading The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Its 8 books long, and the 9th installment is now out. But i saw it only at 1 bookshop at Plaza Sing.

the only part i really loved abt Queen of the Damned was when the sisters had their revenge... heh -

believe it or not, i only started reading the Dune series last year, heresy i know i know lol .... but they didn't draw me eariler.
other authors i read/read are:
Terry Goodkind - one of the best fantasy/majick writers out there
HP Lovecraft - still the master of horror
David Eddings - kinda simpler style after Goodkind and Tolkien
JRR Tolkien - started waaay b4 the movie hype, back when it was considered nerdy
Brian Lumley - Vampire tales but nothing like the anne rice type
Frank/Brian Herbert - currently in the middle of Heretics of Dune
Anne McCaffery - the Dragonriders of Pern series only
Neil Gaiman - need i say more???

Bugger - left all my books in Melbourne. However, i found an old book that I left here and haven't touched since I was in secondary school - the Manhattan Project. It's pretty fascinating how they managed to pull it all together in such a short time, given how little they knew at the time.
Clancy's OK, but I prefer Forsythe. Le Carre tends to be a bit slow at the start.

i used to be called bookworm back in sec sch n till now still reading but mostly read comics loh... now since comics gonna tempoarily close for stock-taking ll shift back to reading novels as soon as i can get outta there to library.
luv david eddings, anna mccaffey, amanda quick, etc
read mostly romance, fantasy, science fiction
etc harry potter series, chicken soup for the soul(got 3 books liao--on the way to collecting all before i turn 50 mayhap )
last of all i read every type of books unless book id of so gross horror dat i ll get nightmares den sayonara to this type... -
