going to read through the programs and brochures and all the literature i got a week ago..
i ended up falling ill..
going to bring the lot with me on sunday night shift to look through...
hopefully, some kinda human resource stuff you know, generic stuff coz my work, not much except that as experience...
and whatever i did for my basic degree, what i have not forgotten is now obsolete

but in singapore, things have gotten really ugly recently... i fear for the people here... the people are not being heard.. the leaders think they can do as they please and they do...
just like the other day, when our airlines was messed up by SARS and other things, the pilots took pay cuts and unpaid leave.. then they got retrenched.. suddenly, the airlines makes a HUGE profit, the pilots ask what's happening and the union tells them to shut up.. so the pilots sacked their union leaders...
that's where it got ugly... the government started threatening the pilots...
in a country like this, where the people are squeezed, and told to shut up and like it, i fear...
it is not a good place to work... people here work too long, too hard and too much.. and they cannot help it...
so maybe in another country.. where it's slower, where we can be human again.. rather than automatrons.. cogs in the machine...
