  just had lunch fast huh?
  
  porridge with steamed mullet (the fish not the bad haircut), fried egg with chye por, steamed then fried fish with shallots, black sauce and sugar (nice!) and some kinda cabbage stewed in some kinda dark gravy
  
  oh, forgot the quintessential thing that goes with the steamed fish... teochew fermented bean with chilli and lime
