  anyway, how hard it is to get unpaid leave?
  
  in my organisation, it's almost impossible to get it in short notice
  
  kinda pisses me off coz one of my team members need to take time off to look after his wayward son, his grieving wife (who lost her mom recently) and all that, and he can't get no-pay leave.. so we let him run off earlier and all that.. close one eye... since we are not authorised to approve no-pay leave

  i dunno. my leave not approved cos he say reason not valid. n i told him i oredi booked liao. he still wouldn't approve. as for my colleague, he can go anytime cos he management level mah. but is held back by work, and have to pay the fine for cancellation lor.
