If they think they can catch Mas Kastari just by trekking on those footpaths, then I think the government is dumber than I thought they were.
He's definitely not going to stay on the footpaths waiting for police to come catch him.
He definitely won't be in public places.
After they do a sector to sector search, they should quarrantine the sector to prevent him from getting in.
I think our SAF and police force are incompetent and a total disgrace.

If you want to catch a criminal, you must think like him. What would you do after you break free from detention. You are not going to run with your prison clothes. What you do?
1) Go to nearby houses (many semi-detached nearby) and steal some clothes that are hanging out for drying, man's clothes first then woman's clothes as standby.
2) Then go to nearby shops that sell females accessories and steal a wig and a shaver, then go toilet and shave the beard then change to woman clothes and wear that wig.
3) He will then travel by foot, never on main street pavement, and go to his accomplice house. Or maybe his relatives or friends or ex-girlfriend or whoever. Someone who will hide him.
There is no point searching for him high and low. He wouldn't be sleeping on top of a tree. He is hiding in someone's house and being well fed and clothed. They are now planning to leave Singapore via sea
Just keep a lookout for any similar size person wearing a jelbab (muslim woman clothes).

Haha catch his family and hang them....like very evil leh. Think the govt doing everything thing they can. Also worried he fled oversea le. Then like that even harder to catch him. But at least everywhere got poster of him and checkpoint also looking out for him. Think he wan to walk on the street here also very hard le. I'm sure the govt would get the guy soon.

i think we should not be blame blame now.I think if there is any sign of weakness in the system - physical, procedural etc , its time to look at it and amend, repair, improve, back to drawing board, reconsider, look at the issue with honest mind and heart, with dignity, charisma, sincerity and honestly do right if any is done wrong.
pointing finger at an officer on duty will not help. the whole city country is at stake, not an officer on duty.
We should focus top down.

haha, didnt you read the newspaper. it says that Selamat will even betray his own JI members when it comes to his own safety. There was once he led out the name of the JI leader in indonesia so that his sentence could be lighter. So as for family, i dont see why he doesnt betray them since he hates being jailed so much, he can do anything under the sun

the govt is stay clear of how the detention centre escape... even toliet is within the fences... unless got wire cutter and the fences is like those schools normal fences.

If i am selamat, I will be damm sian.
If I stay in detention, at least I have good place to sleep and eat. Go to toilet also can use toilet paper, got clean water to bath, can change clean clothes. Maybe got TV to watch, newspaper to read? Maybe can talk cock sing song with inmates and the SPF officiers.
Singapore's forest got nothing to survive on. No wild aninals to kill, cannot make fire, no comfortable place to sleep, no place to hide from the rain... no clean water to drink. Fall sick no doctor to see.

mabbe they should offer a $1m (or more, from the hefty budget surplus we have) for him. so that if he has any accomplish in singapore, he would also think twice before turning to them! and of course, singaporeans would be much more motivated to aid in the search.
