Year-end bonus for SAF regulars LOWER this year?

Last year's was 2.2 month's bonus...this year it's 2.0 only. The bloody news is trying to form a smokescreen, claiming it's more because of the Growth Bonus... i thought we already had PB? The government adding on to it is it? nnb...

regulars' salaries are very high already. in fact highest among all civil servants. don't complain. some people might not be getting bonus at all.

Regular should be looking beyond CFC, otherwise, its better not to join. I was at Career Centre, does not seem that SAF requires non-Specs, non-Officers vocation. I thought once sign up, very fast go to 3SG.Originally posted by Gordonator:

Think of the non cash benefit. You eat in Camp and you dress in #4. Your shoes provided. You sit in MID. You want shopping you go to the shop use your smart card. If you are sick you see MO. OUt of a 52 weeks a year you spend only 52 weekends x 2 days outside the camp maybe even less. 1300 x 15 months = 19500 / 102 days = $191.17 cash generated for outside the camp. That is higher pay than your daily rate for most people in civilian life. -
actually i feel that this whole "i'm an NSF, of course kana arrow" mentality is kinda wrong. Example. Orders given to your OC to get smth done for the battalion. OC says "no problem sir!" OC pass instructions to CSM. CSM arrow one of the PS. PS can also be NSF. it's all WORDS passed down the line until instructions reach the men. That's when the physical work will be done. They have no choice but to do it what. Because it's an ORDER from above, and not because of service status. Us enlisted men are the hands and legs that do the work, leave all the talking to the commanders... -

I always thought that in army (and oso many gahmen dept) if you r not scholar, you henta taki after a while - your rank & pay....
and the best part is, you wanna quit but you cannot because you either on contract or you cannot switch easily to other trades in the private sector...
