Ways to Stop Biting Nails??

okok i am talking abt myself....
i have started tthis habit since i was ard 5 yrs old...so its nearly twenty years already.....any ways to let me stop biting??
i'll be back tomolo afternnoon to check the response...so in the meantime, pls help!! -

i got 1 friend also..bite until the nails left little bit only...den won't grow long 1...very ugly...especially if u r a ger....
think every time u wan to bite..stop yrself ...really need a lot of determination -
if i nt wrong..ther is sumtin to apply to ur nails..n if u forget n then bite it..u taste tat ting..damn yucky one..
if not u ownself put medicated oil onto ur nails? -

cut your nails short or pull out your teeth...
seriously try cutting your nails short for a period of time so that u dnt have anythg to bite. soon ull forget about it. -
mapp|ezz is right... or wear gloves?

eerr.......trim ur nails as and when u see some growing? or read up on some scientific papers on how much microbes r present in the nails and u will reconsider abt it? or like those babies...wear GLOVES!!!!

i work in the service line and i know it looks terrible...thats y i wanna have nice nails...
there was once i put on nail extensions...i was working parttime at a wine place, then a guy commented that my hands were beautiful.....(with the extensions)....darn...
my frens said i have slender fingers, so having long nails will look nice..
but sometimes i dun even know i am biting my nails...it is already starting to be an unconscious action already.. -

Wear nailpolish. You won't want to swallow the polish together with the nails.

Even if you have small nails, just paint them. Gotta start somewhere. Use visible colours to remind yourself.

My brother has them too. He wore plaster around his thumbs to school today, to prevent biting.
