Yesterday I was watching CNA on pilgrimage to Israel. The christian mentioned about Christ had paid penalty for sins for the people. I know there are many christians take advantage on this and go on to do evil to harm both christians and non christians. The best is God still condone these evil actions of the evil christians, i shake my head!

the thing is its too simple lar. everything use god to explain, is getting stale and boring, dun u reckon so? Q: Why did he die early? A: Its god's will.......zzzzzzzzz...there is no need to conduct experiments and observations, cos everything can use god to explain. there will never be progress in society and everyone will behave and think the same. just accept Jesus and you will go to heaven.

thats right. I personally cannot accept it and I am sure there are many others also could not accept it. but that said, there will be many others who do not have any qualms accepting it. all its needed is a strong faith and no questions asked. if you have any doubts, that means your faith is not strong. how can you have doubts on god or Jesus?

Let me explain the origination of religion, how did religion first came about initially.
Primitive ancient people that time were living in caves, hills and mountains, they do not know that natural phenomena like lighting, thunders, earthquakes, floods etc are not acts of god. their lifestyles were hunting, eating their hunt, protecting their tribes and procreation. so they begun to think that there must be a god, if not who are creating all these natural diasters. so they begun praying to Sun, Moon, rivers, sky to seek their protection and create less disasters. they thought that by praying and worshipping, the Sun/moon god will be appeased and will bless their tribe. as people evolved and the worshipping progressed, some even took it to sacrifising of animals and later humans to appease the god. Here the concept of god was based on fear, as they are unable to understand these are not acts of god, but natural phenomenon.

the chinese also do the same thing. they bring ducks, oranges, apples, bananas to the temple and then pray to the idol that may I strike 4-D, get good health, get a nice wife/hubby etc etc. christians prayed to god also same thing, may I marry a nice girl, may I have a pay raise, may I pass my exams with flying colours etc etc

Yes RON. All religion the same. They do the same. But certain religion is very extreme. They blast and bombarded other religions eg) hey your figurine looks scary and ugly...etc.... that is no good.
If one believe one's religion, be its own. And dont preach or approach pple or say other religion ugly or terrible.
Do something must have reason right? Not always GOD say this, Bible say this...then all follow...aimlessly,

Agreed with RON. I ever too when I am really down, I seek GODs solace. But never go and tell pple like : GOD give me strength, GOD hear me speak, GOD speak to me...." NO, never.....that is me and never go and tell pple all those. Except certain extreme pple.

TS must have low IQ (personal evaluation).
If TS had defined what is REAL and why is it REAL, this topic would be legit and feedbacks would allow me to gain insight....
