ya... all come from the same root. It's just that with the Church growing too large, separation is inevitable. I see it like the Chinese in China, who have broken into so many different dialect group, each holding a different custom though all celebrating the same festivals.
Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox are separated brothers who profess the same Christian faith.
