  Sat. Sep. 27, 2008 6:26am: I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 7 oz. Zombie mouse from the Laboratory worth 2693 points and 2889 gold.
  
  Additionally, the mouse dropped the following loot: Tattered Mousoleum Cloth, Greater Radioactive Blue Cheese Curd Potion.

  WHOAAAAaaaAAAAa.

   

  MH 2.0 will be ready for release within the next 2 weeks.

   

  MH 2.0 will have a new look. The interface is new, and more colorful, while maintaining all of the functionality of the old interface. But really, it's what's under the hood that will make all the difference in the world. The boys have recreated MouseHunt from the ground up with some highly efficient data restructuring and much more. The gameplay is exactly the same - the horn, the map, the journal - it's all there. But it's built on a much better foundation.
  
  What can you expect? Without making too many promises, we expect the game to be much faster, more fun to interact with and we'll finally be able to build the features into the game that we've always wanted to add.
  
  Now for the expectations part. As one of the leaders of this band of merry men, my role is often to make sure that we set the expectations properly - so as not to lead people on. To that end, here are my comments; The game will be much the same as before. Albeit much nicer to look at. Do not expect a plethora of changes to the game. We'll keep adding maps, and mice, and traps to this ever-expanding world. A lot of these new items will come AFTER the new engine is released. This new MH 2.0 is much more an "engine rebuild" than a "body replacement". Keep that in mind. We're excited about the way this new engine works, as it will allow us to complete new ideas and implement them much more quickly.
  
  No 3D world maps. No live mice catches. The same brilliant illustrations, the same quirky personalities - and best of all - MHers with a sense of duty and diligence in the hunt!
  
  Wish us the best. We love this game right along with you and we hope you'll stick with us through the transition... it should be an interesting few upcoming weeks.
