Night Fishing Details (View the Night Fishing FAQ)
What is Night Fishing? It is when you and four friends, go on an automatic 5-hour fishing trip once a night. The game automatically goes fishing for you - and sends you a message in the morning of what everyone caught.
What's the benefit? You can catch EXTRA fish - while dreaming of Fish Wrangler at night! However, it is not for everyone because it requires taking a 5 hour break per night.
Who do I go with? You pick who you go with. Ask your friends if their party has an open spot, or create your own Night Fishing party. Parties consists of five (5) members (1 leader and 4 non-leaders). Leaders are responsible for organizing the party; they select the start time, and accept/reject member invitations. Leaders have a harder job with no advantage - otherwise everyone would want to be a leader.
Requirements:
1) Have atleast 10,000 pts;
2) Login 24 hours before trip;
3) Have Chum stocked; &
4) Be on same island as leader.
How does Scoring Work? In the morning, you will receive a breakdown of the fish everyone caught. The gold and points are split equally across all party members.
Scoring Example: *Numbers simplified for exampleMy Night Fishing Party left at 1am and returned at 6am.
I caught 3 Miny, 1 Catty, 1 Vampire - worth 200 gold, 150 points.
Joe caught 2 Catty, 1 Mime, 1 Hate - worth 180 gold, 130 points.
Jon caught 2 Cubey, 1 Catty, 1 Mime - worth 175 gold, 125 points.
Party caught 13 fish - worth 555 gold, 405 points.
Each person equally split profits and received 185 gold, 135 points each. PLUS, an extra 15 gold each for going with 3 people!
You have two options:
1) Join a Party
Search for Night Fishing Parties by friends, networks, and their start times.
or 2) Create a Party
As a Party Leader, it is your duty to find party members, have them sign up, and to make sure they come on each day before night fishing trips to stock up on chum. -
