Sakae sushi coming to Lot 1!

Okay okay, this forum is about Bukit Panjang. But many residents shop at CCK Lot 1 mah.
If only it comes to BP Plaze instead.
I don't like the Genki sushi at BP Plaza.

What took them so long? I orded already then come. Whatsapoint? Last time had to go bukit panjang plaza(or whatever you call that) to eat genki sushi instead. Sakae lost $$$ to nsmen going for nites off.

but be warned, when they first open, the standard of food can be quite horrible...
even now cwp's outlet has not improved much... sad to say... -
Rivervale Mall just opened an outlet. I think for Northeast residents. But Compass Point should have more business to attract.

Used to like Sakae Sushi for its value for money but its standard is declining. Tried the one at Liang Court (buffet) earlier this week and had a bad experience. The choice is limited and many items ran out (e.g. unagi and negi toro). Got to wait 15 minutes for the chawanmushi. Some of their food taste below average so much so that my wife could not swallow them. She placed some partially bitten food on one plate and we had to pay for 2 plates for wastages. Totally ruined my meal. For ala-carte sushi, I would recommend Genki Sushi ($1.20 for salmon sushi and $3.80 for sashimi) or Sushi-Tei (very good sushi and sashimi salad but more expensive). Will probably avoid Sakae for a while

Suki Sushi oso not bad, they got free flow of sashimi.
