Some are very nice and sweet, and they contain lots of water! And the seeds are crunchy and all you need to do to eat that fruit is cut it into half and scrape with a spoon! Yumyumyum!

I tried the Teochew mooncake from Mui Lee finally!
Yeah hahaha it was dripping with oil! But it looked so scrumptious and different from other lar piahs... because it was so SOAKED IN OIL!
But I like!
But then ahh... even though the skin was very nice after being soaked in so much lardy lard, especially the bottom one... I thought the bean paste (it's bean paste right?) was quite ordinary.
Well at least I got a visual feast! Never have I seen dessert (other than ORH NEE) so soaked in oil before. Nice skin nice skin!
Next year if I'm still there, I'll order again. -

and for mookie, you ought to try it when it's freshly out of the oven and still very warm!
