Blog today
0800 - 1700 : Was planned for duty. I reached work, napped till 1000. Woke up, washed the aircraft. Around 1130, we finished the water check and I went back to nap till 0200. Pilot came out for aircheck, landed and did a comp wash. 1700, went home...
1900-Now : Finished jogging... off to watch DVD. What an uneventful day. Good thing there was no alert or standby.

Hello there Sound of Music followers~
Here's my entry for today...
0800 - Went to work, assigned to service an aircraft... its rotor blades were due for weight adjustments. Ground run to start at 1000.
0945 - Finished servicing, aircraft was towed out, waited for pilot. I waited till i need to go to the toilet, on the way there I was told that ground run would commence at 1230. Because the pilot they planned came in at 1200. Dumb planner.
1015-1330 - Sat around... exchanging ringtones... had lunch (Fried rice n fried chicken), had a chat with the EO (Engineering Officer). Next thing I knew, pilot was out.
1330 - 1430 - It took 3 ground runs to adjust the weight distribution of the tail rotor blades... Not bad, considering the longest ever was 16 ground runs and you had to stop for 1/2 hr for every 3 startups. Talk kok with pilot while the rotor tunists were adjusting the blades.
1430 - 1530 - Rained non stop... HEAVY rain... we just sat in the container, talking kok, waiting for rain to stop before the other shift can commence work. Finally the line office called, and we could head home!
And from the time i hit home, i went jogging, had a shower, i'm having my dinner now and i'm still wondering if i should go watch resident evil!!!!

I've been pre-occupied with watching teebee, practising my new pieces and working on theory work.
Everyday after work, I get home and start chomping on food while practising my piano until dinnertime, where I eat somemore. And then my eyes are glued to the teebee from 7pm till 8.30pm (even though the shows aren't extremely nice)... and then I take my big bath and then at 9pm it's TEEBEE time again!!!!
I bought lard cakes today!!! Oh boy, LARD CAKES just sounds soooo nice. 
But they're from Fragrance (you know, the one that sells bah kwa?). They don't taste extremely good, but they DO taste good. Better than normal mooncakes, cos they're not as sickeningly sweet. I LOVE LARD CAKES! I'm going to get the Mui Lee ones on Monday.
And I also bought the yam paste Bearie notified me about - it's not nice.
It's not oily at all. It's tastes like mashed yam mixed with sugar and a bit of water. 
At $2.20 per small serving, it's a waste of moolah.
Bearie says he bought hairy crabs from the same place. He says it's not nice too. I took a look at the mooncakes around the same place, and they don't look nice too.
The dragon beard candy were at such exhorbitant prices! $3 per box (of 4) or $5 for two boxes. Gone were the days when I'd buy them at Haw Par Villa for a mere $1.50 or so per box...
Ugh. I'm not gonna buy from there tomorrow.
I'll buy the LAR PIAH from MUI LEE!!!!!! -

just saw it and thought... hey! you wanted!! i didn't buy any coz kinda sick of yam stuff in the mooncakes lying in the house
in other news, got mom to shake her contacts for the yam paste which is vaccuum packed in boxes which you can microwave.. that one, good stuff
and you were sorely missed at the makan and pub gathering tonight too..
another time yah?
