When I wake up early in the morning before the sun rises, I feel terrific!
Because I can have breakfast at a leisurely pace and play my Water Dance CD...
And to be awake at such an early hour really makes me feel productive.
And I love the peacefulness and coldness... and seeing the condensation on my window pane and the windows of vehicles.
And I can hear the morning birds crooning a dawn song.
And the sounds of the glasses *clink clink clink* from the coffeeshop a few houses away... the first signs of activity.
I miss going to school at 6.20am. -

and heck! the usually cautious people there are starting to warm up to you!
must be coz you're a nice, sweet and friendly girl to them!
i like chinatown.. or liked it.. coz i haven't been there for ages.. last time there was with a dear friend many months ago... and it was night.. used to go there to buy cassettes with a friend who lived around there...

Last week at one of those stalls in Chinatown, I saw a framed miniature violin. I thought it looked quite nice. Wanted to buy it, but it cost $50. After discount.
I think I'll skip buying that jade bangle after all. No point owning something that has to be removed by force.
And these days, shopping at Chinatown has been quite fun... because I discovered that I can bargain at many shops there!
And suddenly so many store owners know me. Even the McDonald's staff know where I'm from. Did I mention now when I go BreadTalk I get discounts?

Hey, that you used to buy cassettes doesn't make you an antique. I used to buy cassettes too. I remember I could hardly afford them at $5 each, and I'd be exhilarated if my sis bought me one. And then I discovered also, that some CDs there are DAMN CHEAP. When I'm free one day, I'm going to take a serious look at them.
I've always liked the place... I like the Chinese culture, and all the food and festivities at Chinatown. But the people suck.
The regular customers are mostly nice people, but still, we do have good portion of unreasonable ones who make demands that we cannot meet even if we wanted to.
I think I'd better smile at people who give me more than brief looks when I walk around Chinatown. So many customers and I can't remember how they look. -

How was everybody's weekend?
I hated mine.
I did nothing but eat alot of fried stuff...
Chicken wings, cheese waffle potato chips, breaded fish, crinkle-cut fries, ngoh hiang, nasi lemak, fried prawn fritters, two mooncakes, fried beehoon, tapioca chips, ham and potato bun.
And a couple of news reports that were barely digestible.
I feel like changing jobs, but I can't because I'm going to need this job when I start studying next year.
I hope they transfer me again.
I'm going to be a bad employee.
I want to go on a nature traiL!!!
I want to climb a mountain and ride the rapids!

there there mookie, eating enjoyable food is always good
i had 2 lunches today.. a mee soto and then wanton noodles..
then i eat junk for the rest of the day, starting with jellybeans and then all the other types of stuff sthu brought along with a couple of beers... then i had kidney and liver soup with rice and then a bowl of soup kambing..
my cholestrol level is probably about 2000% over critical by now -

I've been there, and I remember this gigantic stone dragon head at the entrance. And psstpsst, I even plucked a fungi from the log in the forest. it's still at home, looking like it used to, and I'm still wondering if it's real or the Sentosa staff fixed it there for ornamental purposes.
