Prices Of Second Hand Electones!

  Does anyone know what the market price for second hand electones are? Or at least, how they are determined - age, model, working condition... like, how old will bring what price...?

  No idea. Should be rather low since they're electronic and prices might go lower the older it is?
  
  I remember seeing an ad selling a second hand Yamaha HS-8 in Classifieds, going for $800. That model is more than ten years already. Keep a lookout there lor, maybe you can find what you want.

  It was purchased in 1990! But it's still in good condition... and it's quite a good model.

  what's your plan now? Not sure if the yahoo auction can fetched a better price or not?
  
  BTW, unless there are many same models selling at low low price, you need not follow suit.

  Thought of that before, but it looks like some sort of big hassle to put stuff up for auction How am I gonna deliver the electone

  Actually I have someone offering me $1000.
  
  Initially because I wasn't aware of the prevailing market rates for 2nd hand electones, I thought $1000 was too low, since the price of my electone was over $10K. So I told that person I'd keep in mind his offer.
  
  Now... I might decide to let it go at $1000 after all.
