  I have a friend who lately become interested in erhu. Wonder what so interesting about erhu?
  
  Anyway, does anyone knows where one can learn erhu and how much it cost?

  Don't know... but Chinese instruments, generally, are cheaper than Western instruments.
  
  Erhu is nice.. the instrument produces a sorrowful sound... it's very Oriental... it's... very beautiful!

  I have different views leh. My impression is that Chinese instruments can be costier than western ones. You look at Pipa, GuZheng..... so much solid wood used.....I believe they are more expensive than my classical guitar.
