Would u rather be a song writer or a singer?

For me, I would rather be a song writer. Firstly, I don't like to be in the spot-light.

Secondly, I like the idea of people singing my songs.

Lastly, a song writer last longer than a singer i.e. I can continue to write songs regardless of my looks, age, etc., and I think I get more respect / privacy too.

songwriter. I would prefer writing stuff that I want too about stuff I want to write about. IMO Songwriting is more about music while singing is more about performence, so I would choose songwriting.

I write and sing my own compositions in my band...it feels rather weird to see people singing what u wrote...I never believe that someone can express what I wrote better than myself. Writing songs for other people just never crossed my mind Mr. Green
