improve in guitar skills

I a mid level guitarist player who wish to upgrade myself.
Like how to learn playing solo or chord+melody with my acoustic
guitar.

Hmmm...Improving guitar skills eh?
First
It's important to learn how to read notes...Pick up a couple of scales...The C major scale and a natural minor scale should be nice...
Learn to be fast and consistant with ur right-hand picking
Dont forget abt ur lefty too...Most guitarist tend to make a common mistake...They dont use their left pinkies!. This is a very IMPORTANT point..NEVER neglect ur pinkies...
After learning scaling, u're off to creating ur on solos and stuff...
There's no fixed pattern on how a solo or riff is created...Mostly by note or chord progression i might say...
Next, if u're talking abt about developing techniques and such...
I would say that practicing daily would help alot...
For me...I do arpeggios/econ picking and alt picking for abt 2 hrs a day
Followed up by down picking for 30 mins...It helps u build ur muscles for both hands
Techniques cant be acquired within a day's work...U got to be consistant with ur learning...That's it...
P.s it's nice that u picked up a guitar...

Not sure for the rest, but I think a guitarist is one who plays the guitar full-time professionally. So I am not a guitarist

I didn't know anyone can teach classical guitar and electric guitar together.
Reason is because of the differents way of holding the two types of guitar. Needs time to acustom when switching from one to another. So it is easier to make mistake during playing. As such, people normally choose to focus and learn just one... My two-cent opinion. -

Dude...Satch is amazing on his classical work...Check out midnight and tears in the rain...He's great on the electric too...
U're funny...Cavatina is an easy song...I got it down during sec 1...The first song i've learnt to play.. -

Ok, there may be people who are good with electrc and classical guitar, but definitely not me.
