Left & Right

Watched many bands perform live or on tv and came to a conclusion that guitarists usually stand on the right while the bassists are on the left side of the stage....
asked many frens but no one seem to know the reason why is that so...
Does anyone has any idea why that's this sort of arrangement?? -

dunno eh. my friends anyhow stand one.
maybe it just so happened that not enough plugs for the amplifiers on one side
so those play electric guitar stand together and throw the bassist to the other -

hai... there's is really no reason for standing in those positions....
it's just a band STANDARD... -
heard another interesting version from a fren...
she was saying that human has the tendency to look on the right side... not sure why....
so taht's why will put the lead guitarist on the rite as they tend to capture the attention...
