Hey have any of u hear of the Creative Prodikey DM? Think is is quite a useful product for beginners to learn music, with its user friendly software. Anyway u all have used that b4, care to comment about it.

fun to play with but if you are using the "letters" keyboard, your wrists tend to press a few of the ebony and ivories

Oh ya... fogotten to tell ya that there is also a cover over music keyboard... that is to rest ur wrist and to prevent u to press them when typing on the 'letter' keyboard...

Btw have u all used the Creative Sound Blaster b4? How is it like? The sound good? Always hear about it all the times... but don really know wat it does...

Nope, I never tried it before. Its a MIDI keyboard with a user-friendly interface I suppose... Good for beginners...

Sound blaster? The speakers ah? They're not bad.. sound quality is good, but better not turn the volume too loud or else the sound will become distorted. -

Sound blaster? The speakers ah? They're not bad.. sound quality is good, but better not turn the volume too loud or else the sound will become distorted.

for gaming it's not bad.. the sounds are quite good...
yep prodikeys are selling at $199 now.. How come you managed to get yours at $99 only?
I want to buy one too, but I can't really afford it at this point of time

I got mine at its previous warehouse sales, cuz i bought other barang barang so got this voucher and bought that at a cheaper price.
Think u can gets urs for a cheaper price if u don mind waiting for its next sale at jurong. U can get the date for the event from its own creative webby.
I can post or pm the date to u when the sales date is announced. Btw i have the beige version, cuz black one is out of stock by the time i went there.

Anyway, any musicians here using the Prodikeys? As a musician, how do you view the Prodikeys? As in, for instance, would it be better composing using the Prodikeys?
In my opinion, to me it might be better cos sometimes by the time I write down the notes, I would've forgotten what was the tune that was in my mind.. and being able to record down compositions digitally using a keyboard is better because I get to change bits and parts of the composition as and when I like with ease. But because of the octave limitations, I'll have to keep changing them if my composition involves more than the octave range of the prodikeys before adjustment... -
