  I first heard it from the jap jazz band 'T-Square'
  i love their music...

  be careful don't press your lips against the mouthpiece too hard
  
  i can't really remember how to do it, but maybe if sometimes you need to hit high notes, a little accent would help.
  
  you need constant practising... high notes don't come overnight
  
  using more air is one of the keys here.. cos it's the high speed of air that helps to bring out the high notes...

  You may not have seen an EWI in use but it's almost certain you have heard them as they are used by leading session players the world over and have been featured on numerous film and TV soundtracks.

  haha.. i noe.. press too hard got the marks above the lips.. ya.. same as wat my seniors told me.. speed of air..
  
  i tink i'm the lousiest player in my whole section.. i sure die.. my conductor is a trombonist lo.. professional.. sure wil get scoldings from him one day..
