I'm sorry to say this but the stray kitten my mom picked up months ago has to go. And SOON.
Despite the culling of stray cats, putting cats in a somewhat pitiful and unfair predicament,
I am not going to house the cat anymore!I have been greatly disturbed by the cat EVERYTIME I sit in the living room where the cage is. [By the way the cat is now comfortably housed in my
DOG's cage every night and the cage put in the living room. It has to be caged up at night because the car might just roll over it one day when my uncle comes home in the evening.] The cat just makes so much noise, it meows non-stop. It's giving me a hell of a headache and no matter what I do, pacify or smack at the cage with a roll of newspaper, it doesn't stop!It climbs around the cage and tears at the newspaper lining the cage, making such a big mess. It claws at the things around the cage and has already damaged some of my stuff. I used to put a water dish inside until I could no longer stand the cat overturning the water dish EVERY NIGHT.
EVERYTIME I open the door and try to get out of the house in the day, the cat will just dart into the house and I'll have to spend time trying to catch it and put it back outside. There are even occasions when I'm late for events just because of this.. this.. darned cat.
Moreover, everytime the cat comes into the house, it pounces onto my dog [my poor dog] and attempts to bite it, I don't know out of playfulness or what, but my dog sure is terribly disturbed by it.
PLEASE. Somebody save me. Where can I put this cat so that it will be free from culling? I've read in the papers there are catteries being constructed and people taking in cats and whatsoever but at the moment I can't seem to find the article or the right people to approach. Can anyone help?
