Suggestions for Engineer Berets..

Pplz....lets explore this shall we?It is interesting to note that Engineers are more combat than support in the sense that they DO a lot of strenous tasks at our frontline.I salute them sia
So..what color should we give them?

i ord'd some time back, and my memory is hazy, but green is infantry, rite?
Methinks the Engineers should keep the blue beret, but maybe add a backing behind the crest, similar to what the Guards have on their Khaki berets. Can fool around with the colour and shape, but i guess that's the basic idea. I not Engineer, so what do the real engineers think? -

haiz...actually i dun really see what is the big deal regarding the colour lor...engineers got blue beret becoz they are supporting the so called combat units...combat means combat...support means support...i think everybody appreciates the help from engineers...they are good...but let's not dwell on the colour too much lah...i've got a green beret but so what...it's is now lying inside my ali baba bag collecting dust only...u want? i can give u -

i used to be from water bridging (35 SCE)
we had to have this black-earplug container thing secured to our top button hole on our No. 4
wonder if there's a reason behind this?
any other units/formations got this kind of thing?
