Definitely ENERGY if I had to choose.
Firstly, I think they are better in terms of singing. 5566 CANNOT SING LIVE aiyoh totally cannot make it. I'm not trying to insult but the only person who can sing live in 5566 is Tony Sun and then when they all sing together, their balance is terrible. The backup-vocals drown the main vocals. And I hear people going off-key.
Energy can sing wat. They did during the Hit Awards right? Live one I think.
But then... I... prefer...
DAVID TAO between groups I guess it'll have to be Tension. They sound pretty good and at least different from other groups. Unfortunately, some of them look more like bodybuilders. -

I am a guy. Normally guys don't really like boy bands. haha..if i am forced to choose i would choose 5566. Reasons being that 5566 is more talented in acting and singing compared to energy. Energy has dancing skills which 5566 also have. Renfu of 5566 is also a talkshow host, which makes them an all rounder. The ou xiang ju MVP Valentine is also a very nice show acted by the 5566.

musically, both suck as much as a 1gigawatt vacuum cleaner..
i think they were both created in the studio to make little girls wet and scream their heads off at them... then sell millions of CDs because of that... after a couple of years, i'll bet none of the screaming thousands would admit they were fans even under the most heinous torture...
