for the sake of safety, i'll still recommend u to change.
at 120 per set of mitzler, dun see why not.
after all, your bike, u, ur pillion or whatever is running on these 2 pieces of rubber.
just my 2 cents worth -
thought of that, but my tires pireli tires are like only 5mths old loh ...
still very new .... heart pain to change mah ... than kind of shot on cash ....
btw the metzler tires u said is it good ? where to get at this price ?
my shop coat me 110 for rear only ,...
damm ex i think the guys said it's this price becoz the other time i trade in my IRCs .... so that why i was charge on 120..... -

First I've riding my TA200 for nearly a year without much mishap, except skipped off the road due to the original damn lousy IRC tires (got it changed soon after that)
All bike chain needs constant lubricating due to Singapore wet / dry weather and proper monmitoring of it tension. Too tight a chain is not suitable for pillion as it needs to stretch more.
Don't throw clutch while shifting gear, this will cause the bike to jerk and to cause unnecessary tension on the chain. I always change gear, throttle abit before slowly letting the clutch go. Hehe..., my chain has never been adjusted since I bought the bike. But regular engine servicing is a must.
Then coming to the famous phantom sound....I got it smoothen out by pouring in engine additive. now the bike is smooth and quiet. I can tell the diff when riding next to a phanton on the road.
Well, always take care the bike well and the bike will take care of you while you are on it.

one particular club member of mine mended his pirellis when he just got it. damn sway that guy. after bout 10 to maybe 13k, he changed his tyres again. when we inspected his 'mended hole', it has grown a lot in size. wun one smth like that when i'm going 130 on NSH. a life, 2 or even 3 is worth much more than that.Originally posted by skeujin:come on... minor punctures do not require a tyre change...

for the metzler tyres going at $120, if u have doubts, please refer to singaporebikes.com (aplogies mods, not spamming here).
and ask the mods there. if not, just cut short the chase and visit Eugene Tan's at Sin Ming, ask him the price for a pair of
metzler (TA200) for SBF members.
