Just now went into Nicoll highway ERP, 6 pm i tink...
dun noe how much they charged, cashcard left 0.58 cents, so just go over with frenz...
then go pass ERP, only red blink, but nv deduct my $$!!!!!!
then check with frenz it deducted $1 off his cash card..
ok, my qns so will i get the fine?
if so can i appeal?
coz in the first place, i dun noe my cashcard left so little $$ and i also dun noe the ERP charge so thought 50 cent enuff..

i think u will be fined loh...no money and no cashcard is the same thing loh....its not like Transitlink, whereby got deposit...watever the case, wait for any letter loh.

Seriously speaking, you already own a 2a bike liao and you don't know the rates never mind but since you wanna take the chance to use the 58cents to pass the gantry, you already know you have 50% chance of getting fined right(since you dunno the rates). If you don't have cash to top that card, why didn't you make your effort to ask your friends how much is the ERP at that time? And actually you can wait for another hour and pass the gantry for free...
So at the end of the day, your appeal won't have high chance. But you can try though. Sorry for the harsh passage.( If you think I'm too direct)
Just wanna state all the factors the LTA might tell you when you wanna appeal. And if you think you have good answers for the above questions then you might win the appeal. Cheers. No offence hor... -

If I in your situation, I will see what time is it.... if over 6:30 I will wait another half hour..... else I will go onto the pavement.... haha -

Anyway ... I also dun think chances for high ... but if you say you student, ask them to pang chance for you ... probably can ... cos i got fren tio illegal parking $70 reduce to $35 ..... cos he stated a not-so-valid reason and say he was a student.
But it is only $10 additional lor ... dun think worth the trouble la ... treat it as a lesson .... -
