hi all.... anyone riding this bike?
heard that it's very fast......... but how fast? compared to RVF? CBR? Super four? PGM4?
how much will it cost for the bike with around 5 years COE? is it around 5K?
as for maintainence wise, is it very ex?
i just like the shape and of course the twin arrow pipe.....

bike is nice and gd to ride
,,,,but once spoilt consider kanna sai. 
...be prepare to fork out around 1K for standby if the biike spoilt...cos the parts are expensive and mostly previous owners sure whack the bike till chia lak...then u go and take over,,,,,tio one big bomd then siao liao,,,,,but some condition are still gd,,,,,remember this,,,,,ppl will fall sick so will the bike fall sick....aprilia is like the mercedes catergory.......expensive

ya.. me now 125..... i saw the 250 version... looks like my one... but the pipe damn "chio" ... i really like aprilia alot..... just that it's maintainence is ex..... me going into NDU soon..... will be the 22nd batch combat diver.... i think.... i just pass through the interview..... hopefully diver's allowance is high.... then i can upgrade to 250.......Originally posted by ah tiang:u riding 125 rite?

if i go buy honda CBR, around 8 k.......
if i choose between RS250 and CBR...
CBR cost 8K excluding any maintanence
RS 250 need for example 2K maintainence...
total i will spent on RS will be around 7K and RS is the fastest 2A bike...
but if i buy CBR, i will sure spend more then 8K......
plus i like aprilia anyway....... so what u think?
am i wrong to think is such a way? or any other cost i forgot to think about? -
The new 2003 RS250 is the fastest bike in the world for cornering and pick-up. The bike includes a genuine on-board computer, which means it's computerised. Its digital meter have no speed limits. I'm taking my NEW APRILIA RS250 (2003 GP SERIES) this afternoon. You better don't take the RS250....why....cos it's too powerful to handle when you speed........Of course every bike can be control when travelling at a slow speed.....BUT who will ride slowly with this motor which was designed for MOTO GP....
*For what you buy a second hand......use your 5k to downpayment for the first hand, but very very very expensive..... -

how much u bought for ur bike? me ride not very fast lar..... around 100kmh plus plus at max..... but i really wanna own one RS250.... can i ask, what it means by too powerfull to handle? like that how i gonna handle R1 next time? me also like R1......but for class 2A, RS250 is my best choice.... the most i corner slowly... only speed when running on straight roads..... -

,,,,,a original magnectic coil cost around 600plus ,,,,,if wanna overhaul the engine cost around 2k or more ,,,,depend on wat u wanna change for the engine parts 
....the best is buy a brand new 03 model aprilia250 ,,,although the price is high but condition wise is surely better then the older version without having to worry wat will spoilt next ,,as the older version have the problem of valve jam,one of the spark plug burnt,,,,,,etc,,,,,there are pros and cons abt the old version RS250, 
in its tip top condition it will be very gd to ride ,,,,but once problems comes ...gd luck, if u would like to see the newest version u can always go the MAH motors and check it out there ,,,,anyway,gdluck to u -

I don't mean where is the carburettor, i mean you know what's the brand of it or not??? But anyway i already stated....
The total cost if you buy at MAH Pte, be prepare to throw in around 20k....And be prepare if they throw you the 01' version....mine is 03 machine.....With horse power 72.5, can be upgrade to 96 horse power. And that 01' version, it only have 62.5 horse power.....And MAH PTE have left with 4 01' version. so prepare he will push sell all the 01' version first........
**If you all ask why am i able to get the 03' version.....COS i import it.... -

I hav frnz telling me hw fast and hw gd his bike, top speed 200++ and ... I was thinking, u r just waiting for ur lic to be revoked. hehez. You will tend to speed when you hav a powerful machine...
