a bicycle on a road meant for motor vehicles is a road hazard.Originally posted by Scarabeo:So what do you consider as road hazards? Ah peks on bicycles, students with motorised bicycles, a dead guy on the road after an accident?
What do you do to show your disrespect to what you deem as road hazards?
tat time young and ignorant mahOriginally posted by Promiscuitee:That's the problem (and danger) when u go onto the public roads without passing hihway code....bicycle not allowed on expressway!!!
Not running them down is not a matter of respect. It's a matter of not wanting to go to jail.Originally posted by nismoS132:a bicycle on a road meant for motor vehicles is a road hazard.
a pedestrian is a road hazard. a drink can is a road hazard. a tree branch is a road hazard. and oil spill is a road hazard.
anything not meant for the road is a road hazard.
how do i show my disrespect?
i go up, blow my throttle at them and give them a forceful kick which hopefully will cause them to fall badly and the experience will scare them off the roads permanently.
now you'd wish i'd really do something like that huh?
i give them enough respect not to run them down. that's more than enough. now get off the roads.
Great post.... provided you never walk or cycle or ride a motor bike on the road.Originally posted by nismoS132:a bicycle on a road meant for motor vehicles is a road hazard.

i wonder if we'll have to wait till the day where "CYCLIST TRIPS AND IS RUN OVER BY BUS, BLOOD SPLATTERED ALL OVER!" before something is done.Originally posted by Atobe:Great post.... provided you never walk or cycle or ride a motor bike on the road.
If ever you take on the role of a pedestrian walking on the road, or as a cyclist riding your bicycle (powered or non-powered), or your motor-bike - just beware that someone do not have the same idea as you have posted.
I think that is the biggest misconception...I mean this time factor thing.Originally posted by ah_tee:tat time young and ignorant mah
i do it middle of the nite 2am leh, not much car,
got car the driver also
its not abt misconception, its abt how u change according to circumstancesOriginally posted by Promiscuitee:I think that is the biggest misconception...I mean this time factor thing.
u assume not many car at 2am...same for those guys racing down orchard road....so what happens??...he saw u too late and u saw him too late...WHAM BAM!!....
OK, not u lah...but that is very likely....Juz like if u stop along the changi coastal rd in midnite or early morning...speeding trucks/cars may see u too late.
Accidents happens when it is least expected.
