hey guys...
mind sharing yr 2T consumption?
mine is 1 litre/1100km (est) which is a little on the high side in my opinion.
although not beri sure of the exact consumption..i rem that when i got my bike new (abt 3.5 yrs ago)..the consumption was like 1 litre/2000km-2500km...can anyone explain the huge difference now?i neber tuned my 2T intake b4...could be my mechs did it...but a difference of almost 2 times??seems a little on the high side..
anyone noe the capacity of the 2T tank in the SP?

my 2T consumption i oso nv go n measure hw much hw much, but aga aga is abt 1wk - 2wk lidat, i using rock oil. den as fer esso 2T, u can go HKL @ bt merah lane, they selling cheaper den outside.

Assuming your petrol consumption is about 20 kilometers per litre, you consume 55 litres of petrol to travel 1100kms. Which means your 2T-to-petrol ratio is 1:55. If we're talking about a standard 2-stroke engine, this is not high. When I got my SP, the ratio was also about 1:70. I'm not sure about SP engine, maybe the engine is tuned to use very little 2T. But I'm not very convenient with the idea of having the ratio lower than 1:50. So I adjusted my 2T intake to be about 1:40, and live happily with it until today. Anyway, if you want to adjust your 2T intake, you can do it yourself, it's not hard to do. Just be aware that you should take into consideration your engine condition and your riding style.anyone noe the capacity of the 2T tank in the SP?

Take off your right fairing, you'll see a small black box. Open the box, you'll see a cable coming out from the box. The cable is held firmly by two nuts. Loosen the nuts, and use them to adjust the position of the cable. Once you get the desired position, tighten the nuts to make sure the cable's position doesn't shift anymore. That's it, it's pretty simple to adjust your 2T pump. Of course it's much easier to show you how to do it, rather than to explain it in writing
