Hi there, just wondering if anyone did Dyno jetting on their S4 VTEC? Comments?
My advice to you is not to do it.fixing a jetting kit requires u to fix aftermarket exaust and filter in order to get a good horsepower gain.u will also need to get a very experience mechanic to do it.The problem is when a tom dick or harry do the tuning out of place,u will get hell of a time.plugs burn, horribly high fuel consumption,no pickup or no top end,u will get worst than u started.
Ok ,if u insist on fixing u must bear in mind that jetting kit required u tp fix aftermarket pipe,do u wan risk the fine?
If your answer is still yes,i would recommend you go loois motor find mengtong or clifford in ubi.Seasoned riders will know who they are.Good luck.
From wat i can understand from most of the dynojets fitted in singapore are Stage 1 jets. They dun require any modifications to the engine, pipes as well as air box. They simply remove any restrictions or detunning of the bike from the factory(which are done so to pass inspection easily) by replacing the stock jets and needles with the appropriate sizes and needle profile. Just ensure that u are fitting them with Stage 1 kits instead of any other Stages. A good installation with a proper dynorun will produce a well-tuned bike.
to fix that, unity in bukit merah charged $270
my advice is spent that $$$ on something worth while like accessories for your own protection.jackets, gloves, full face helmet.i have fitted dyno jet in my bike but frankly speaking i would rather re store it back to its original status.y?becoz not much a different esp when the condition in spore its speed limit is only 90.only once a while where u rode above that but watching your back every 2 seconds for tp.i find that is worth-less esp after kena fine for speeding recently....well bro juz an advice.personally with s4 original setting is already good enough for spore road and even travelling to malaysia once awhile.
