i dunno if its my spark plug too long never change or wat ....most of the time sure engine stall...afew time die while waiting for lights to change.....if lucky electric start can liao...if not kick can start but trottle nia die again....dunno y.....according to extreme motordiam ...my spark plug....

travel from ubi to eunos mrt there, then i realised choke nv close.. -
so if spark plug nv change for too long, engine will keep stalling once u stop?

make alot of noise.. very noisy.. then got ppl tell me go to neutral and BLOW engine.. keep blowing until idling point drop to 2k... then the noise gone liao

Maybe next time send for service, change to a good spark plug... I personally think electric start is better over kick start...

quite deep inside leh.. its on e right side.. try to peep peep see 1 yellow knob there.. just ard e carb tat area... then turn to increase or decrease lo.. =)

KRR has this inherent problem of starting engine. Dunno is bcos of the design of carb or the alternator not powerful or wat. Anyway, I own a KRR and it used to have the same problem. Now I dun have liao.
When you start engine in the morning, switch off your headlight first. Turn on your choke and start cranking your engine. If it starts, listen to the engine. Is it getting louder and louder ? If it is, good, the fuel is catching the heat.
If you hear the sound climb a bit only, but hung at a certain point and doesn't get asny loder, it means the fuel is not catching the heat properly. Probably too much fuel, and the spark plug cannot generate enuff heat to combust the fuel. This becomes the fuel flodding the plug. In this case, quickly turn off choke for a while, and try the choke again. Engine should start.
Another thing, check your idling speed. Start your engine, switch on your headlight, and make sure it's idling speed now is around 1K. Slightly above 1K would be best. For my machine, anything below 1K with the headlight on will stall the engine. If you switch off the headlight, the machine should be running at about 1.5K. Dun have to adjust idling speed too high. One thing, it wastes fuel and money. The other thing, it's darned noisy. I like my engine as quiet as possible.
To adjust the idling speed, you need to know where the adjustment screw is. If you do not know, ask you mechanic. He should be glad to show you.
Check the spark plug. When spark plugs get fouled with fuel, they are no longer able to produce enuff heat to burn off the fuel. So any big motion on the throttle will cause a tidal wave of fuel flooding the poor plug, and you end up having your engine die off on you.
You can choose a high heat plug, but it'll wear out faster. And I was told it's not really good for your engine. If you choose a colder plug, you might have some problem starting during cold weather.
Last thing, ask your mechanic to tune your carburettor. Hope my advice helps. Good luck ! -

solution: go geylang find a thai pro, book a room wif her, then ask her translate all those manuel into english if she know
after that u may whacked her as u like anyway u paid -
KRR is a fine machine, dun need to throw away. It's just that you need to get used to the way of handling it.

i am using denso IW27. i think it should be better than the stock one.
