signal lights needed to be repaired on sunday 23/02/2003

hi riders... i just came back from lower seletar dam.. had a great time there with the cold sea breaze and beautiful moon light... but the thing is....
my right side signal light did not work out of a sudden.... when i switch to the right turning signal... the front right signal light only light up but didn't blink as usual... and the rear signal light didn't work at all....
so my question is.. may i know what is the problem??
and i know that during sunday lots of bike shops are closed... is there any bike shop in yishun area that can help me with this problem??? i personally feel that without a good working signal light.. others will not be able to know my intention of turning and could be a danger to me and others....
please reply me before sunday is over... thanks alot....

If you know how to check, check if your rear signal light... is the blub connected probably? I encountered this before...

probably just the front bulb blew.
some bikes, the front bulb blow, will also cause the rear (or vice versa) to stop working. i think it's the way the circuit is set up. just go buy a new bulb can liaoz.
better buy the bulb wif the same voltage and current, if not confirm will blow again, if suei, will even damage your rectifier (extra current running about etc etc).

u see on roads got how many ppl dun use signal one...
at most u scare u use hand signals loh.... i see some ah peks use hand signal one.... even stopping that time oso will put up hand one to tell the cars behind to slow down, muchiam instructor like that

its your rear signal light that blew ... if u want it fast ... change the front to the rear so that the rear will light up when u signal ... but it will not flash ... until you change the bulb that is spoil

aiyah...no signal dun change lane lor.....if want to change lane....turn your head see got car or not lor...if no car den change lor...if got car u slow down or speed up den change lor....got signal or not doesnt cause much prob wad....sumtimes i dun even use signal for e whole day of riding...

well...the actual problems lies in the rear signal light... just a loose connection... all i did was to adjust the contact point and it works!
thanks for all ya help and advise.... now i can lane change with signal again...

can always use your hands to signal your intention to turn...
but now repaired liao, ok lor.

sommore his friend told ah pui he ask the tp what he do, the tp jus say u didnt signal,then the friend ask, no signal 6 pts? the tp jus say go back n wait for letter in a fed up tone, that time evening time, he ask sommore questions but the tp ignore him, put on the helmet n rode off,
then his friend stood by the roadside n seh for 5 mins coz its so unfair -

Told you is connection problem liao... dun need go shop one... just learn and diy.... and btw fyi, new riders i thot only got 12 points? Correct me if I'm wrong... i got once oso signal light no blink n i tot bulb blow or loose but no lor its the relay bye bye liao...... change relay liao back to norm again
